Reviews and Ratings
Staying at the hotel was a great experience overall. The rooms were beautifully appointed without going over the top, making our stay in a nice suite on the ground floor perfect for our family. The service from Chloe, George, and Michael was welcoming, although some items were not replaced promptly. The location, especially in the Great Hall at Cliveden House, was absolutely stunning, attracting visitors with its mature trees and well-maintained gardens. The dining offered great healthy options, although a bit more variety would have been appreciated. Facilities were good, enhancing our weekend getaway.
The hotel was a mixed experience for me. The rooms, though not as spacious as I had hoped for the price, were located in one of the wings and felt slightly over-furnished. The service, on the other hand, was outstandingly attentive and welcoming, especially in the kitchens. The location, despite the bad weather, offered beautiful views and opportunities for pleasant walks. Dining options were a bit hit-or-miss, with some dishes not meeting expectations. However, the overall stay was pleasant with great service and lovely surroundings.
I stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were spacious and had one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The bathroom was beautiful with lovely toiletries. However, the dining area looked a bit tired. The service was exceptional, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was simply spectacular, especially the drive-up to the hotel and the stunning National Trust gardens. The dining experience was simple yet healthy, though a bit pricey. The facilities were top-notch.
